We are currently seeking a passionate, creative, and technically skilled Media Coordinator to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will be someone who possesses a solid foundation of knowledge across various media production disciplines, coupled with an eagerness to learn, adapt, and grow alongside the company. This role demands a proactive individual with a positive attitude who thrives on collaboration and is ready to contribute hands-on to improve our conferences and content quality. The Media Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the creation and management of multimedia content, live event production, and audio-visual services, ensuring that each project reflects the high standards and values of Shop Fix Academy. They will engage in videography, including filming B-roll and "talking head" style videos, with proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro editing. Additional expertise needed encompasses live audio management—understanding audio signal, setup and teardown processes, EQ’ing, and running sound for our signature conferences—and live video production, which covers frame rate knowledge, video signal handling, projection, lighting, use of ProPresenter software, and rapid troubleshooting.
This position is based in Franklin, Tennessee, and demands a flexible work schedule, including the capability to work long hours and late nights during conferences and events. Job Requirements
- bachelor’s degree in a related field highly preferred
- minimum 1 year experience in live audio, live video, and videography
- proficiency with Adobe Premiere software
- willingness to work long hours and late nights during conferences
- strong technical troubleshooting skills
- excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- ability to think quickly and manage multiple tasks
- coachable and adaptable to feedback

Job Qualifications
- bachelor’s degree in related field highly preferred
- 1+ years of experience with live audio, live video, and videography
- proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro
- experience with Adobe After Effects preferred
- basic skills in Adobe Photoshop
- familiarity with Google Suite, Microsoft Office, or Apple Suite
- basic knowledge of Zoom, OBS, or similar streaming platforms
- strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships
- quick decision-making and problem-solving abilities
- coachable and receptive to constructive feedback
- positive and proactive attitude
Job Duties
- filming B-roll and talking head style videos
- editing footage using Adobe Premiere Pro
- managing live audio setups including signal, EQ, and sound running for events
- operating live video equipment including frame rate and video signal management, projection, and lighting

- troubleshooting technical issues during conference productions
