The Mechanisms Technician role at Varda is a critical position within their engineering and production teams, focused on assembling, integrating, testing, troubleshooting, and maintaining mechanical systems and fluid handling devices used in aerospace vehicles and equipment. This role demands exceptional precision and reliability to ensure flawless operation in demanding environments, including those requiring pharmaceutical-grade processing controls. The Mechanisms Technician will engage with actuators, hinges, deployment systems, gear assemblies, valves, tubing, and manifold assemblies. Responsibilities also include calibrating and validating mechanical components and fluid systems, supporting environmental testing such as vibration and thermal analyses, and maintaining comprehensive records in compliance with aerospace industry standards like AS9100 and ISO.
