In this role, the Mechanical Supervisor is responsible for various key functions including installation quality assurance, safety oversight, equipment trial runs, and coordination with subcontractors to ensure timely and accurate project completion. They will conduct detailed quality inspections, manage corrective actions, and provide clear reporting to project managers and customers. The Mechanical Supervisor must be proactive in identifying and resolving issues promptly and have the physical ability to navigate large construction sites under various environmental conditions. The role also requires excellent communication skills for writing comprehensive trip reports and for training subcontractors on the proper installation of Dematic’s material handling equipment.

This role is a blend of technical expertise and leadership, ideally suited for professionals with a solid background in troubleshooting electromechanical equipment and experience with automation systems such as Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVS), Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems (AS/RS), or conveyors. The Mechanical Supervisor position offers competitive compensation ranging from $42,000 to $95,000 depending on experience, education, and location.
