Hilti values diversity and inclusion, ensuring that every team member is respected, heard, and given the opportunity to contribute to the company’s continuing success.

The position of Mechanical Assembler at Hilti involves working hands-on with modular support systems, specifically assembling components of Hilti installation products. This role requires a meticulous approach to quality and safety, focusing on assembling, inspecting, and delivering mechanical solutions efficiently. Mechanical Assemblers work with a variety of hand and power tools, read blueprints and schematics, and measure components to ensure precision. This role operates within a manufacturing and production environment, requiring both physical stamina and technical expertise to maintain the high standards expected by Hilti. The position is scheduled for the 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM shift, offering shift differential pay to compensate for the hours worked outside of typical business times.

Key responsibilities for the Mechanical Assembler include producing components by assembling parts and subassemblies, positioning and aligning components manually or with the help of hoists, and conducting rigorous quality control inspections to ensure the uniformity and performance of assembled products. Attention to detail is crucial as assemblers must read and interpret blueprints and assembly instructions to correctly fasten parts and subassemblies, verify specifications using precise measurements, and adjust dimensions to resolve any assembly issues. The role also entails maintaining a clean, organized work area, performing preventive maintenance on tools and equipment, and managing inventory to ensure sufficient supply levels for production needs.

Mechanical Assemblers at Hilti are also responsible for logging productivity data and documenting quality control activities, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the factory setting. The role demands physical dexterity and dynamic energy, accommodating repetitive tasks that may require standing or sitting for extended periods. Individuals in this position will thrive in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment where quality, efficiency, and dedication to satisfying customer orders daily are paramount.

Joining Hilti means more than just having a job; it offers a full career with competitive base salary and bonus potential, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for professional development. The benefits include paid time off covering vacation and personal days, paid family leave, educational reimbursement, and generous health care options including medical, dental, and vision coverage. Additionally, Hilti provides a 401(k) matching program and supports community engagement by allotting two days annually for volunteering.
