Job Requirements
- Ability to represent and support Big Y's culture of caring while living our Mission & Vision
- Supports Big Y's Diversity, Equity and Inclusion initiatives
- Proficient in ordering for the entire sales areas of both the meat and seafood departments
- Project a clean and professional appearance
- Ability to operate within company policies, procedures, and standards
- Willingness to cross train and learn other areas as needed
- Ability to work a flexible schedule in accordance with the needs of the store
- Completed Meat/Seafood Butcher and Culinary Training Program and/or passed a meat skills test
- Must be 18 years of age or older

- Completed Meat/Seafood Butcher and Culinary Training Program or passed meat skills test
- Ability to provide exceptional customer service
- Knowledge of meat and seafood products and handling
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to maintain department cleanliness and order
- Flexibility to work varied schedules

Job Duties
- Prepare precise and high-quality cuts of meat and seafood
- Maintain proper ordering and inventory for meat and seafood departments
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards
- Provide product knowledge and customer service expertise
- Maintain cleanliness and professional appearance of the department
- Cross-train and learn other areas as needed
- Operate within company policies and procedures
