Job Requirements
- Ability to represent and support Big Y's culture of caring while living our mission and vision
- Supports Big Y's diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives
- Must be proficient in ordering for the entire sales areas of both the meat and seafood departments
- Must project a clean and professional appearance
- Ability to operate within company policies, procedures, and standards
- Willingness to cross train and learn other areas as needed
- Ability to work a flexible schedule in accordance with the needs of the store
- Must have completed Meat/Seafood Butcher and Culinary Training Program and/or passed a meat skills test
- Must be 18 years of age or older

- Completed Meat/Seafood Butcher and Culinary Training Program or passed a meat skills test
- Ability to represent and support Big Y's culture of caring while living the mission and vision

- Proficient in ordering for the entire sales areas of both meat and seafood departments
- Ability to work a flexible schedule
Job Duties
- Prepare precise and high-quality cuts of meat and seafood
- Maintain department conditions including cleanliness and organization
- Ensure proper ordering and inventory management for the meat and seafood sales areas
- Adhere to food safety standards
- Provide product knowledge and expertise to customers
- Support cross-training and learn other areas as needed
- Operate within company policies, procedures, and standards
