The Meat Department Manager role at Smith's Food and Drug is a dynamic leadership position that plays a critical part in shaping the customer experience and the department's operational success. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Prior management experience in retail or meat department
  • Ability to acquire a current food handlers permit once employed
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to handle stressful situations
  • Basic math skills including counting, addition, and subtraction
  • Willingness to promote a positive and respectful work environment
  • Ability to follow local, state, and federal laws and company guidelines
  • Must be able to perform essential job functions with or without accommodation

Job Qualifications

  • Plan and organize inventory
  • Maintain proper temperatures and logs
