Job Requirements
- High school diploma
- Ability to handle and operate kitchen equipment safely
- Strong physical capability to perform job duties including standing, lifting, bending, reaching, and operating machinery
- Adherence to health and safety guidelines
- No use of drugs or alcohol while on the job
- Ability to follow recipes and cooking procedures
- Commitment to maintaining a clean and sanitized work environment
Job Qualifications
- Outgoing, upbeat guest interaction skills
- A desire to develop strong culinary skills
- Excellent communication skills
- High school diploma
- Food safety certification preferred
Job Duties
- Prepare fresh food items
- Suggest ways to cook multiple fresh items for the same dishes at once
- Create sauces or toppings for dishes and develop dishes themselves
- Maintain a clean and sanitized work station
- Verbally receive and call back guest orders in an upbeat and friendly manner
- Follow health and safety guidelines
- Adhere to recipes and presentations for food and beverage items
- Utilize kitchen equipment including broilers, ovens, fryers, slicers, choppers, steamers, knives, and paddles for food preparation and service
- Cut, package, and prepare fresh meat products
- Follow proper cooking procedures according to standardized recipe cards and supervisor instructions to produce a uniform product
