Job Requirements
- No prior retail experience required
- ability to lift 50 pounds
- standing or walking for 6-8 hours in an 8-hour shift
- ability to use hands for grasping, fine manipulation, pushing, and pulling
- ability to perform bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching motions
- ability to work with FDA approved cleaning chemicals
- ability to work in temperatures up to 90 degrees Fahrenheit
- ability to work in wet and cold environments
- ability to handle knives and cutting tools safely
- flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- ability to use tools and equipment such as box cutters, electric pallet jacks, and other heavy machinery

Job Duties
- Ensure a fresh and appealing meat display by checking quality, stocking, rotating, and removing out-of-date products
- maintain back stock in good order
- assist with the sampling program, keeping sample areas full and clean
- clean cases, glass, coolers, smoker, floors, and drains as required
- arrive to work station on time, appropriately groomed and ready to work
- provide excellent customer service by addressing customer needs in a timely and effective manner
- maximize sales through proper prepping, storing, rotating, stocking, and merchandising of products
- follow and ensure compliance with weights and measures, health and sanitation, and safe work practices
- maintain a clean and sanitary working environment and equipment
- perform opening, mid, and closing duties including ensuring accuracy of signs and pricing
- immediately report safety hazards and violations
- perform other duties as assigned by leadership
