Job Requirements
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
- Able to stand and walk for 6-8 hours in an 8-hour work day
- Proficiency in hand use involving grasping, fine manipulation, pushing and pulling
- Ability to perform bending, twisting, squatting and reaching motions
- Exposure to FDA-approved cleaning chemicals
- Ability to tolerate temperatures up to 90 degrees Fahrenheit
- Capability to work in wet and cold environments
- Skilled in handling knives and cutting equipment
- Flexible to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to use tools and equipment including box cutters and electric pallet jacks
- No prior retail experience required
- Complete required trainings and adhere to standard operating procedures
- Maintain punctuality and professional appearance
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to sell proactively
- Basic knowledge of all products carried in department
- Visual examination skills for product quality and freshness
- Familiarity with product labels
- Ability to assist with inventory checks
- Clear communication skills with team members, customers, and vendors

Job Duties
- Ensure a fresh and appealing display by checking quality, keeping cases and shelves clean and well stocked, rotating and removing out-of-date products, filling ice tables, and performing other duties as assigned
- Maintain back stock in good order
- Assist with sampling program, keeping sample areas full, clean and appealing
- Clean cases, glass, signs, uprights, coolers, smokers, floors, and drains as required
- Arrive to work station on time, appropriately groomed, dressed and ready to work
- Provide excellent customer service, address customer needs timely and effectively, model suggestive selling techniques, answer phones and pages promptly and courteously
- Maximize sales potential through proper procedures for prepping, storing, rotating, stocking, and merchandising product
- Follow and ensure compliance with established procedures including weights and measures, health and sanitation, and safe work practices
- Maintain a clean and sanitary working and shopping environment
- Perform opening, mid, and closing duties as assigned
- Ensure accuracy of signs and pricing
- Immediately report safety hazards and violations
- Perform other duties as assigned by store, regional, or national leadership
