Job Requirements
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
- Ability to stand or walk 6-8 hours in an 8-hour workday
- Hand use including single grasping, fine manipulation, pushing and pulling
- Ability to perform motions including bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching
- Exposure to FDA approved cleaning chemicals
- Exposure to temperatures up to 90 degrees Fahrenheit
- Ability to work in wet and cold environments
- Ability to handle knives and cutting equipment
- Ability to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to use tools and equipment such as box cutters and electric pallet jacks
- Appropriate grooming and punctuality
- Works all scheduled shifts and attends required trainings and meetings
Job Qualifications
- No prior retail experience required
- Ability to sell proactively
- Ability to learn basic knowledge of all products in the department
- Ability to visually examine products for quality and freshness
- Ability to read labels and familiarize oneself with products

Job Duties
- Ensures a fresh and appealing display by checking quality, cleaning and stocking cases and shelves, rotating and removing out-of-date products, filling ice tables, and performing other assigned duties
- Maintains back stock in good order
- Assists with sampling program, keeping sample areas full, clean and appealing
- Cleans cases, glass, signs, coolers, smokers, floors, and drains as required
- Arrives to work station on time, appropriately groomed, dressed, and ready to work
- Provides excellent customer service, addresses customer needs promptly and effectively, models suggestive selling techniques, answers phones and pages courteously
- Maximizes sales potential through proper prepping, storing, rotating, stocking, and merchandising products
- Follows and ensures compliance with procedures including weights and measures, health and sanitation, and safe work practices
- Maintains clean and sanitary working and shopping environment
- Performs opening, mid, and closing duties as assigned
- Reports safety hazards and violations immediately
- Performs other duties as assigned by leadership
