Job Requirements
- No prior retail experience required
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
- Standing and walking 6-8 hours per 8-hour workday
- Use of hands for grasping, manipulation, pushing and pulling
- Ability to bend, twist, squat, and reach
- Exposure to FDA approved cleaning chemicals
- Exposure to temperatures up to 90 degrees Fahrenheit
- Ability to work in wet and cold environments
- Ability to handle knives and cutting equipment
- Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to use tools and equipment such as box cutters and electric pallet jacks
Job Qualifications
- Ability to sell proactively
- Ability to learn basic knowledge of all products in the department
- Ability to visually examine products for quality and freshness
- Ability to read labels and familiarize with various products
- Ability to assist with inventory checks
- Ability to deliver information clearly and respectfully
- Ability to meet customer service expectations
- Ability to follow directions and effectively manage time

Job Duties
- Ensures fresh and appealing displays by checking quality, stocking, rotating, and removing out-of-date products
- Maintains back stock in good order
- Assists with sampling program, keeping sample areas full and clean
- Cleans cases, glass, signs, coolers, smokers, floors, and drains
- Provides excellent customer service, addressing needs promptly
- Maximizes sales potential through proper prepping, storing, rotating, and merchandising
- Follows health, sanitation, and safety procedures
- Performs opening, mid, and closing duties
- Reports safety hazards immediately
- Performs other duties as assigned
