Job Requirements
- No prior retail experience required
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Ability to stand and walk 6-8 hours per day
- Skill in single grasping, fine manipulation, pushing and pulling
- Capability to bend, twist, squat, and reach
- Exposure to approved cleaning chemicals
- Ability to work in temperatures up to 90 degrees Fahrenheit
- Ability to work in wet and cold environments
- Ability to handle knives and cutting equipment
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to use tools and equipment such as box cutters and pallet jacks
Job Qualifications
- Ability to sell proactively
- Knowledge of all products carried in the meat department
- Ability to examine products for quality and freshness
- Familiarity with product labels
- Ability to assist with inventory checks
- Strong communication skills

Job Duties
- Ensures fresh and appealing displays by checking quality, stocking, and rotating products
- Maintains back stock in good order
- Assists with sampling programs and keeps sample areas clean
- Cleans cases, glass, signs, and equipment thoroughly
- Provides excellent customer service and addresses customer needs promptly
- Maximizes sales through effective product prepping, storing, and merchandising
- Complies with health, sanitation, and safety procedures
- Performs opening, mid, and closing duties
- Reports safety hazards immediately
- Performs other duties as assigned
