Job Requirements
- No prior retail experience required
- ability to lift 50 pounds
- ability to stand and walk for 6-8 hours during an 8-hour shift
- proficiency with hand use including single grasping, fine manipulation, pushing, and pulling
- ability to perform motions such as bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching
- ability to work with FDA approved cleaning chemicals
- tolerance to working in 90 degree Fahrenheit temperatures
- ability to work in wet and cold environments
- ability to safely handle knives and cutting equipment
- availability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- ability to use tools and equipment such as box cutters and electric pallet jacks

Job Duties
- Ensure a fresh and appealing meat display by checking quality, stocking, and rotating products
- maintain back stock in good order
- assist with sampling programs by keeping sampling areas full and clean
- clean cases, glass, signs, coolers, smokers, floors, and drains
- arrive to work on time and prepared, adhering to grooming and dress standards
- provide excellent customer service, address customer needs promptly, model suggestive selling techniques, and handle phone and paging duties
- maximize sales through proper preparation, storage, rotation, stocking, and merchandising of product
- follow established procedures including Weights and Measures, health and sanitation regulations, and safe work practices
- maintain clean and sanitary working environment and equipment
- perform opening, mid, and closing duties as assigned, ensuring pricing and signs are accurate
- immediately report safety hazards and violations
- perform other duties as assigned by leadership
