We are currently seeking dedicated team members to join our Meat Department. This entry-level role involves supporting the meat team through various duties including customer counter service, merchandising, stocking, and sanitation tasks. Team members are expected to maintain a fresh and inviting product display, ensure compliance with food safety standards, and contribute to an efficient and positive shopping experience. With a wage range of $17.50–$25.40 hourly based on experience, this role offers eligibility for Whole Benefits, including paid time off, health and wellness programs, store discounts, and financial wellness support. Job Requirements

  • no prior retail experience required
  • must be able to lift 50 pounds
  • standing or walking for 6-8 hours in an 8-hour shift
  • ability to use hands for grasping, manipulation, pushing, and pulling
  • capable of bending, twisting, squatting, and reaching
  • exposure to FDA approved cleaning chemicals
  • ability to work in 90 degree and cold, wet environments
  • ability to handle knives and cutting equipment
  • flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • ability to use tools and equipment such as box cutters and electric pallet jacks

Job Duties

  • ensure fresh and appealing display by checking quality, stocking, and rotating products
  • maintain back stock in good order
  • assist with sampling program by keeping sample areas full and clean
  • clean cases, glass, floors, and equipment according to sanitation standards
  • provide excellent customer service and respond to customer needs promptly
  • follow and comply with food safety, health, and sanitation regulations
  • perform opening, mid, and closing duties including pricing and sign accuracy
