Rooted in a long-standing tradition of quality and excellence, the company meticulously selects meats based on stringent criteria, ensuring precise aging to enhance flavor and tenderness along with expert trimming for the perfect presentation. Whether catering to fine dining establishments with white-linen service or casual family dining venues, The Stock Yards offers a diverse and carefully curated assortment of meat products tailored to meet various budget and pack-size requirements. Located at the Chicago Stock Yards in Aurora, IL, this company has a rich history of commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.

Currently, The Stock Yards is seeking dedicated individuals to join their team in a critical production role responsible for preparing and packing meat products to meet production demands. Working primarily on the first shift from Monday to Friday with potential overtime and Saturday shifts as needed, this position plays a vital role in maintaining the company’s high product standards. The ideal candidate will work in a fast-paced environment, upholding the rigorous USDA Safety and Sanitation Regulations and adhering to customer specifications in every aspect of the meat preparation process.

This role involves operating within refrigerated environments ranging from 35°F to 45°F and in freezer conditions between -10°F and +10°F, with company-provided apparel to ensure safety and comfort. Candidates must be capable of handling these physical demands in a safe and efficient manner.

Compensation for this role starts between $20.00 and $20.75 per hour, with additional overtime pay where applicable. With a commitment to diversity and inclusion, The Stock Yards is an Equal Opportunity Employer welcoming applicants from all backgrounds.

This opportunity offers a chance to join a reputable company that values quality, tradition, and employee dedication. Team members will receive thorough training on food safety protocols and good manufacturing practices (GMP), gaining valuable skills for a career in the food processing industry.
