Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous meat cutting or food service experience preferred
- strong customer service skills
- ability to operate meat cutting and wrapping equipment
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelines
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- effective communication and teamwork skills
- comfortable using handheld digital technology
- ability to stand for long periods
- problem-solving skills

Job Duties
- Collaborates with other associates to build a strong meat team
- communicates with team members
- adapts to business needs to work in other areas
- demonstrates knowledge of floor business, backroom operations, product safety, sanitation, inventory management, equipment maintenance and sanitization
- prepares meat products by cutting, grinding, wrapping, trimming according to standards
- cuts boneless meat products
- maintains product quality standards
- uses handheld technology to make production, training, and product quality decisions
- adapts to and encourages use of new digital tools
- maintains work area according to company policies and procedures
- ensures quality and date control standards for meat products
- secures fragile and high-shrink merchandise
- eliminates waste
- assists members with purchasing decisions
- ensures merchandise is properly packaged, labeled, and stored
- advocates for department and club by valuing member experience
- models high quality service and products
- executes basics with high quality
- exhibits energy, commitment, and passion for work
- complies with company policies, procedures, ethics, and integrity standards
- completes work assignments by using policies, data, and resources
- collaborates with managers, co-workers, customers, and business partners
