  • ability to operate meat cutting and wrapping equipment

Job Duties

  • Collaborates with other associates to build a strong meat team
  • communicates with team members
  • adapts to business needs to work in other areas
  • demonstrates knowledge of floor business, backroom operations, product safety, sanitation, inventory management, equipment maintenance and sanitization
  • prepares meat products by cutting, grinding, wrapping, trimming according to standards
  • cuts boneless meat products
  • maintains product quality standards
  • uses handheld technology to make production, training, and product quality decisions
  • adapts to and encourages use of new digital tools
  • maintains work area according to company policies and procedures
  • ensures quality and date control standards for meat products
  • secures fragile and high-shrink merchandise
  • eliminates waste
  • assists members with purchasing decisions
  • ensures merchandise is properly packaged, labeled, and stored
  • advocates for department and club by valuing member experience
  • models high quality service and products
  • executes basics with high quality
  • exhibits energy, commitment, and passion for work
  • complies with company policies, procedures, ethics, and integrity standards
  • completes work assignments by using policies, data, and resources
