Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- prior experience in meat cutting or similar food handling preferred
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelines
- ability to operate meat cutting and processing equipment
- excellent customer service skills
- ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- strong communication and teamwork skills
Job Duties
- Collaborates with other associates to build a strong meat team
- communicates with team members and adapts to business needs
- demonstrates knowledge of floor operations, safety standards, sanitation, inventory, and equipment maintenance
- prepares, cuts, grinds, wraps, trims meat products according to standards
- maintains product quality standards
- uses digital tools to drive sales and improve shopping experience
- makes business decisions related to production, training, and quality
- ensures operational excellence through adherence to company policies
- maintains clean and organized work areas
- secures fragile merchandise and eliminates waste
- assists members with purchasing decisions
- ensures proper packaging and labeling of products
- advocates for department and club by delivering high-quality service
- complies with company ethics and policies
- completes work assignments by collaborating and communicating with managers and coworkers
- adapts to changes and feedback
