  • Basic math skills for inventory and labeling tasks

Job Duties

  • Collaborate with team members to build a strong meat department team
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and management
  • Work flexibly across different areas as business needs demand
  • Demonstrate expertise in cutting, grinding, wrapping, and trimming meat products according to quality standards
  • Maintain sanitation guidelines and product safety standards
  • Operate, maintain, and sanitize equipment used in the meat department
  • Use handheld technology to make business decisions related to production, quality, and training
  • Ensure commitment to operational excellence by maintaining work area according to policies
  • Control product quality and dates to minimize waste and secure high-shrink merchandise
  • Assist members with purchasing decisions and provide exceptional customer service
  • Package, label, and store merchandise according to company policies
  • Advocate for the department by modeling high-quality service and products
  • Execute basic tasks with high quality, energy, and dedication
  • Comply with company policies and ethics standards
  • Complete work assignments by collaborating and communicating progress
  • Adapt to feedback, change, and challenges to improve work processes
