Job Duties
- Collaborates with other associates to build a strong meat team
- communicates with team members and adapts to business needs by working in other areas
- demonstrates knowledge of business operations, product safety, sanitation, inventory management, and equipment maintenance
- prepares meat products including cutting, grinding, wrapping, trimming according to standards
- cuts boneless meat and maintains product quality
- leverages digital tools to drive sales and improve shopping experience
- uses handheld technology to make decisions related to production, training, and quality
- maintains work area following company policies
- ensures quality and date control standards for meat products
- secures fragile and high-shrink merchandise
- eliminates waste
- assists members with purchasing decisions
- packages, labels, and stores merchandise properly
- advocates for the department and club by modeling high-quality service and products
- complies with company policies, procedures, and ethics
- completes assignments using policies, data, and resources
- collaborates with managers and coworkers
- prioritizes tasks and communicates progress
- identifies improvement opportunities and adapts to change and feedback
