Job Requirements

  • Ready to complete all required trainings and assessments within prescribed time

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous meat cutting or fresh food experience preferred
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation guidelines
  • Ability to operate and maintain meat cutting equipment
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Comfortable using digital tools and technology
  • Ability to stand for long periods and multitask
  • Problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Job Duties

  • Be a team member by collaborating with other associates to build a strong meat team
  • Be an expert by demonstrating knowledge of floor and backroom operations, product safety, sanitation, inventory management, equipment operation, and meat preparation according to standards
  • Be a techie by leveraging digital tools and handheld technology to drive sales and improve member experience
  • Be an owner by ensuring operational excellence, quality and date control standards, secure packaging, waste elimination, member assistance, and proper merchandise storage
  • Be a talent ambassador by valuing member experience, modeling high-quality service and products, and exhibiting energy and commitment
  • Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity
  • Complete assignments and priorities using policies, data, collaboration, and communication to improve operations and adapt to change
