Job Qualifications

- prior experience in retail or food service is an asset

- knowledge of meat cutting or food safety standards is beneficial but not required

Job Duties
- Collaborates with other associates to build a strong meat team
- communicates with team members and adapts to business needs by working in other areas
- demonstrates knowledge of business operations, product safety, and sanitation guidelines
- prepares meat products including cutting, grinding, wrapping, and trimming according to standards
- maintains product quality standards and handles boneless meat products
- leverages digital tools for sales, shopping experience, and associate engagement
- utilizes handheld technology to make business decisions related to production, training, and product quality
- ensures operational excellence by maintaining the work area and enforcing quality and date control standards
- secures fragile and high-shrink merchandise while eliminating waste
- assists members with purchasing decisions
- ensures proper packaging, labeling, and storage of merchandise
- advocates for the department and club by valuing the member experience
- models high quality service and product standards
- complies with company policies, ethical standards, and procedures
- completes work assignments using data and resources while collaborating with managers and coworkers
- adapts to changes and feedback proactively
