Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous experience in a meat department or related food preparation role advantageous
- ability to stand for long periods
- excellent customer service skills
- basic knowledge of product safety and sanitation standards
- familiarity with inventory management and equipment operation
- strong communication and teamwork abilities
- proficiency in using digital tools and handheld technology
- problem-solving skills to address obstacles effectively

Job Duties
- Collaborates with other associates to build a strong meat team
- demonstrates knowledge of business on the floor, backroom operations, product safety standards, sanitation guidelines, inventory management, and equipment maintenance
- utilizes handheld technology for business decisions related to production, training, and product quality
- ensures commitment to operational excellence, maintaining work area according to company policies
- assists members with purchasing decisions and ensures merchandise is properly packaged, labeled, and stored
- models high quality service and products by valuing the member experience
- complies with company policies, procedures, and ethics standards
- completes work assignments by collaborating with managers, coworkers, and customers
- communicates progress and recommends improvements
- adapts to change and feedback
