Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks associated with meat cutting and handling
- Willingness to comply with company policies and complete job-required trainings and assessments within prescribed timeframes
- Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment
- Strong commitment to customer service and member satisfaction
- Ability to communicate clearly with team members and members
- Flexibility to adapt to change and handle multiple priorities
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in meat cutting or fresh food handling is beneficial but not required
- Strong knowledge of product safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to operate and maintain meat cutting and packaging equipment
- Basic proficiency with digital tools and handheld technology
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Job Duties
- Collaborate with other associates to build a strong meat team
- Communicate with team members and be flexible to work in other areas based on business needs
- Demonstrate knowledge of business on the floor, backroom operations, product safety standards, sanitation guidelines, inventory management, and equipment operation and maintenance
- Prepare meat products including cutting, grinding, wrapping, and trimming according to established standards
- Cut boneless meat products and maintain product quality standards
- Use digital tools and handheld technology to make immediate business decisions related to production, training, and product quality
- Ensure commitment to operational excellence by maintaining work area according to company policies and procedures
- Secure fragile and high-shrink merchandise, eliminate waste, assist members with purchasing decisions, and ensure merchandise is properly packaged, labeled, and stored
- Advocate for the department and the club by valuing the member's experience, modeling high-quality service and products, and exhibiting energy and passion for the work
- Comply with company policies, ethics, and standards by implementing action plans and using the Open Door Policy
- Complete work assignments by collaborating with managers, co-workers, customers, and business partners, communicating progress, and recommending improvements
- Adapt to and learn from change, difficulties, and feedback
