The role of a Meat Department Team Member at BJ's Wholesale Club is integral to maintaining the high standards the company upholds in providing fresh meats and related products to its members. This position involves receiving, rotating, wrapping, and merchandising fresh and processed meats, as well as assisting with seafood, rotisserie chickens, prepared foods, and cheese products. Responsibilities include weighing and labeling meat cuts, packaging freshly cut meats, inspecting deliveries for quality assurance, and ensuring proper stock rotation and disposal of expired products.

This role demands physical stamina, including frequent movement on hard surfaces, occasional bending, lifting up to 30 pounds, and occasional exposure to cleaning agents.
