The role is designed for candidates who enjoy working collaboratively within a team, maintaining high standards of product quality, and contributing to the overall success of the kitchen operation. The Cook role entails a variety of responsibilities focused on food preparation and kitchen support. Candidates will assist the Kitchen Manager and fellow cooks with ensuring quality and portion control, following standardized recipes, and preparing food using techniques such as grilling, broiling, steaming, and sautéing. Attention to detail is critical when measuring, mixing, cutting, and trimming ingredients while adhering to established production standards. Employees must maintain cleanliness, safety, and health code compliance in all production and storage areas. The ability to stay calm under pressure in a fast-moving kitchen environment is essential, along with strong communication and teamwork skills. This role also requires physical stamina to stand for extended periods, lift and carry items up to 25 pounds (occasionally up to 50 pounds), bend, kneel, and perform repetitive tasks. Applicants must embrace the company’s core vision and values and demonstrate food safety knowledge, knife skills, and a commitment to personal hygiene and operational excellence.
