Job Requirements
- Must have a reliable personal vehicle to use for deliveries
- Proof of insurance and a valid drivers license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Must be fluent in English with some knowledge of Spanish preferred
- Be available to work between 6am - 3pm
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a courier role is preferred
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with clients
- Experience in food service and meal delivery is a plus
- Experience operating commercial driving vehicles is highly desirable
Job Duties
- Safely operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to assigned locations
- Load and unload items from the vehicle ensuring proper handling to prevent damage
- Follow designated routes for timely deliveries while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries including signatures and any discrepancies encountered during the route
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients upon delivery and mitigating risk that would compromise the client’s experience
- Efficiently set up meals according to brand standards and food safety regulations
- Set up for catering events that may sometimes require additional materials such as decorations chafing dishes sternos identification cards drink dispensers and more
