Job Description
Roper St. Francis Healthcare, located at 8950 University Blvd., Ste 200, North Charleston, SC 29406, is seeking a Receptionist to greet, instruct, direct, and schedule patients and family members. The role involves assisting patients in scheduling appointments, selecting a primary care clinician, handling prescription requests, scheduling referrals, and ensuring accurate handling of medical chart information and insurance referrals.
Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- at least one year of experience in a medical office strongly preferred
- strong patient-centered focus
- effective verbal and written communication skills
- ability to work as part of a clinical team and establish effective relationships with patients, employees, and the public
- excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
- proficiency with Practice Management and Electronic Health Record systems
