In the role of McArthur's Server Assistant, you will play a vital part in delivering an exceptional dining experience for guests at the Arizona Biltmore. This full-time position requires availability on weekdays, weekends, and holidays and is centered on support functions crucial to a seamless food and beverage service. Your responsibilities will include setting and preparing tables, ensuring the cleanliness and readiness of tableware and service areas, stocking food stations, and aiding servers during service periods. The role demands attentiveness to guest needs, efficient communication to promptly resolve guest inquiries and concerns, and adhering to all established hotel policies and procedures.

Job Qualifications

  • Prior food and beverage experience preferred
  • prior customer service experience preferred
  • prior luxury or upscale dining experience preferred
  • Maricopa Food Handlers Card required
  • strong communication skills
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • teamwork and collaboration skills

Job Duties

  • Set and prepare dining tables including folding napkins and placing tableware
  • ensure tableware is in good condition and report defects
  • stock and maintain designated food stations
  • assist Server with table service including serving beverages and breads
  • retrieve and transport dirty tableware to dishwashing area
  • respond to guest inquiries and requests promptly and courteously
  • follow hotel and department policies and procedures
  • complete all sidework and assist with tasks assigned by management
