This job opportunity is for a Guest Service Expert on the evening shift at The Ritz-Carlton in New Orleans. The role is full-time and non-management with a pay rate of $7.25 per hour. The Guest Service Expert plays a vital role in enhancing the guest experience by providing attentive and personalized service. This role is not just about delivering food and beverage; it is about building a memorable experience where food and drinks complement exceptional service. The Guest Service Expert is responsible for setting tables, interacting warmly and professionally with guests, efficiently communicating with the kitchen and other team members, and maintaining clean work areas and supplies. Physical stamina and attention to detail are crucial, as the role involves standing, walking, and sometimes sitting for extended periods across uneven or slippery floor surfaces.
The Guest Service Expert must be hands-on, able to handle light lifting, reaching, bending, and other physical tasks aligned with the job’s demands. Job Requirements
- high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
- less than 1 year of related work experience
- ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods
- capacity to lift objects up to 25 pounds unassisted and up to 50 pounds with assistance
- availability to work evening shifts
- adherence to safety and uniform standards
