We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Lead Barista to join our team at The Junto. This role is perfect for a coffee expert passionate about crafting exceptional beverages while offering outstanding customer service. As the Lead Barista, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality coffee and other drinks, educating and guiding guests through our menu, and making personalized recommendations tailored to their preferences. Beyond drink preparation, this role involves supporting operations by managing inventory, maintaining store standards, overseeing side work and cleaning assignments, and assisting with training new team members. You will also serve as the acting lead in the supervisor’s absence, ensuring seamless daily operations of our coffee shop.

Success in this role requires a comprehensive knowledge of coffee, tea, and other beverage recipes, accompanied by a deep understanding of brewing equipment and café operations. Exceptional customer service skills and a professional, thoughtful demeanor are essential. The Lead Barista position is central to delivering the distinctive guest experience that defines The Junto, fostering a welcoming, clean, and organized environment that reflects our high standards.
