The position available with Seniors Helping Seniors® Tri-Valley is that of a part-time Caregiver / Home Care Aide (HCA), with competitive hourly pay ranging from $21.00 to $22.00. The role focuses primarily on providing personal-care services tailored to the unique needs of senior clients. This includes assisting with bathing, toileting, feeding, ambulation, and mobility support to ensure the comfort and safety of those cared for. Beyond physical assistance, the caregiver serves a vital role in offering emotional support and companionship, addressing the often-overlooked social and emotional needs of seniors living at home.

In addition to personal care, the caregiver may assist with light housekeeping tasks, meal preparation, and transportation, facilitating a holistic and supportive environment for clients. The caregiver is encouraged to engage seniors in social and recreational activities, promoting an active lifestyle and combating isolation. One of the key aspects of this role is fostering meaningful connections through shared interests and mutual respect, which benefits both caregivers and clients. Furthermore, caregivers provide respite care to give primary family caregivers necessary breaks, contributing to the overall well-being of the families served.
