At the Tyler Center, we are currently seeking exceptional tutors to join our team as Mathnasium instructors. This is a part-time position with pay ranging from $10.00 to $14.00 per hour, offering a consistent and flexible schedule averaging 8 to 15 hours per week. As a Mathnasium instructor, you will be responsible for creating a positive, engaging, and fun learning environment for students. This role involves learning and implementing the Mathnasium curriculum and teaching methods, which emphasize conceptual understanding and number sense rather than rote memorization. Unlike traditional tutoring jobs, all work takes place within the center, meaning no lesson planning or homework assignments are required on your part. Ongoing training is provided to help you deepen your understanding of the Mathnasium Method and improve your instructional techniques. You will tutor students across all grade levels from 1 through 12, assisting them with various math topics including algebra, geometry, and calculus fundamentals. Our instructors are passionate, motivated, and dedicated to helping students succeed in math.
