This role is a full-time leadership opportunity within gategroup, offering an annual salary range of $75,000 to $80,000. The position is crucial for maintaining production standards across unit operations, ensuring that customer requirements are consistently met or exceeded. The successful candidate will be responsible for labor controls, scheduling, productivity, communication, and efficiency standards necessary to sustain superior quality and customer service daily. The role supports a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and requires a hands-on approach to safety, compliance, and administrative duties. The manager will lead teams of up to 50 employees, fostering positive labor relations, developing staff, and driving continuous improvement in operational performance. Travel of up to 10% may be required.

Job Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years supervisory or management experience
- Experience in scheduling and financial controls
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Capacity to train and manage staff
- Capability to give daily feedback to employees
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to lift and move objects over 25 pounds
- Availability to work a rotating schedule of 55+ hours per week
- Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time
Job Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Some college preferred
- Must have 3 years of supervisory or management experience
- Scheduling and financial acumen
- In-flight catering experience highly desired or experience in a high-volume food service industry
- Current or previous labor relations experience a plus
- Experience with menu design a plus
- Comfortable with all levels of employees and ability to drive positive program change
- Strong and effective leadership skills
- Ability to work in a fast paced, deadline driven environment
- Ability to train others
- Ability to give negative and positive feedback to employees daily
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks without losing focus on priorities
- Strong organizational, analytical, communication and leadership skills
- Innovative and able to improve the work environment and unit performance
- Basic computer skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products preferred
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Bi-lingual in Spanish is a plus
Job Duties
- Ensures unit maintains production standards
- Ensures labor controls are in place and are effective
- Ensures interdepartmental communication occurs regularly
- Assist in the development and training of subordinates
- Work with management staff to improve performance of the unit
- Prepares administrative reports as required
- Responsible for safety, quality and compliance to customer specifications
