minimum 3-7 years of experience in materials inspection or testing
aci concrete field testing technician - grade i
nuclear density gauge safety certification

Job Qualifications

minimum 3-7 years of experience in materials inspection or testing
aci concrete field testing technician - grade i
nuclear density gauge safety certification
nicet level ii or iii - construction materials testing
ddot materials testing certifications
osha 10-hour construction safety training

Job Duties

perform field sampling and testing of soils, aggregates, asphalt, and concrete
conduct density testing and compaction testing as per project specifications
document materials testing results and maintain accurate records
coordinate materials testing activities with project inspection staff
verify that materials meet applicable specifications
maintain calibration and operation of testing equipment including nuclear density gauges
assist with preparation and documentation of test results for project records
