This specific position is a safety-sensitive role requiring the operation of machinery and manual handling of packages including heavyweight and potentially dangerous goods. The employment type is full-time in-person, with shifts scheduled from Sunday to Thursday, 6:00 PM to 11:45 PM, offering pay starting at $17.89 per hour plus a $3.00 pay premium. As a vital member of the operations team, the employee will ensure the safe and efficient movement of various packages, documents, and unit load devices (ULDs). Responsibilities include assisting in the buildup and breakdown of freight pallets and acting as a liaison with ULD repair vendors when necessary. This role demands physical capability to lift and maneuver heavy packages and maintain a high level of alertness and safety awareness during operations.

The job also requires the successful completion of training and passing a drug screen and criminal background check. Candidates must possess a valid driver’s license due to the operation of motorized conveyances on site. The position necessitates working in varied environmental conditions and requires strong communication skills to operate effectively in noisy work settings.   • Ability to maneuver packages in enclosed spaces and stack packages above one’s head if required
  • Able to work in all weather conditions if required
  • Able to climb stairs and ladders if required
  • Able to complete a drug screen and criminal background check
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license
  • Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safety
  • Willingness to work Sunday to Thursday 6:00 PM to 11:45 PM shift

Job Qualifications

  • Ability to successfully complete all required training

Job Duties

  • Provide safe and efficient operation of equipment used for movement of packages, documents, heavyweight, dangerous goods and ULDs
  • Assist in the buildup and breakdown of pallets containing heavyweight freight
  • Serve as liaison between company and ULD repair vendor as required
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Communicate timely and effectively in a noisy operations environment
  • Complete all basic and re-currency training satisfactorily
  • Work in various weather conditions and maneuver packages in enclosed spaces
