The Material Handler - Split Shift role at Eaton's Dallas facility is a critical position within the distribution center. The role's core hours are from 9:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., with mandatory overtime that may extend beyond these hours based on customer demand. This hourly position pays $20.00 per hour, representing a competitive wage in the industry. The Material Handler is primarily responsible for moving materials throughout the facility, including receiving, restocking, picking, packing, and shipping. This ensures that customer orders are processed smoothly and delivered accurately and on time. New hires are placed on a 90-day introductory period focusing on safety, conduct, attendance, quality, and productivity to qualify for continued employment.

In this role, individuals will use various equipment including standup forklifts, reach trucks, order pickers, and cherry pickers to handle materials safely and efficiently. Key tasks include retrieving correct materials based on orders, verifying product counts using scanning equipment, unloading and staging pallets, generating move tickets, sorting materials, and resolving any discrepancies that might arise during processing.
