The Warehouse Associate position at Ameristar Casino Resort Spa offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a team that manages critical logistics functions essential to casino operations. This role involves performing all warehouse-related responsibilities, including inventory management, merchandise inspection, and stock distribution to various casino outlets. The position requires familiarity with materials management systems and the ability to use equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and carts safely and efficiently. The associate will also be responsible for maintaining accurate counts and weight checks, rotating inventory on a first-in, first-out basis to ensure fresh stock, and verifying vendor documentation against purchase orders to uphold quality standards.
Additional responsibilities include driving a company truck to support offsite warehouse operations, assisting with miscellaneous duties as assigned, and adhering to guest service requirements to maintain a high level of professionalism. This role demands strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively within a fast-paced and diverse team environment. A valid Colorado Driver's License is mandatory, and the ability to lift up to 80 pounds is required.

Job Requirements
- Ability or willingness to learn to effectively interact with people
- Ability or willingness to learn to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions
- Must be capable of using computer and materials management software
- Ability or willingness to learn to communicate effectively with others
- Understands and complies with all company and departmental rules and regulations
- Must have a valid Colorado Drivers License
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 80 lbs
- Ability or willingness to learn to operate a forklift, pallet jack, dolly, and carts in a safe and efficient manner
- Ability to sustain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism
- Ability to maintain a high level of energy and take a proactive and strategic approach to dealing with team member relations issues
- Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with team members at all levels of the organization

- Previous shipping/receiving experience preferred
