The available position is for a Mate, also known as an Assistant Store Manager, which is a leadership role within Trader Joe's store operations. As a Mate, you will be responsible for leading and developing the store Crew Members through active role-modeling, clear direction, and ongoing support. This position requires a hands-on approach where you will engage with the team by working alongside them, fostering a positive and productive store environment, and enhancing the quality of store life. Your leadership will be critical in coaching others to reach their full potential, demonstrating behaviors that align with Trader Joe's core values, and maintaining a store atmosphere that is welcoming both to customers and staff members. - 3+ years of recent retail restaurant or hospitality experience
- 2+ years of recent management or supervisory experience
