The role of the In-Room Dining Cook at Resorts World Las Vegas is a critical position within the culinary team that ensures guests receive top-quality food and service in the comfort of their rooms. This position requires an individual with a passion for cooking, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. The In-Room Dining Cook will be responsible for preparing, cooking, and plating food items according to established recipes and standards, while maintaining the highest levels of sanitation and safety. The role involves evaluating the taste and presentation of cooked food before serving it to guests, assisting multiple stations when necessary, and ensuring that inventory levels are maintained to support smooth kitchen operations.
This position emphasizes teamwork, communication, and adherence to the resort’s core values, ensuring that every guest’s dining experience is exceptional. The In-Room Dining Cook will participate in daily briefings, stay current with position-specific licensing requirements such as obtaining and maintaining a Food Handler Card, and comply with all health code regulations and resort policies. The work environment includes exposure to typical restaurant conditions such as varying noise levels, temperature fluctuations, and the physical demands of prolonged standing, bending, reaching, and lifting up to 25 pounds.
Candidates should bring at least two years of experience in an In-Room Dining operation, possess excellent knife skills, and demonstrate the ability to translate recipes into exquisite dishes that delight guests. Ideal applicants will have a degree in Culinary Arts or related training and experience working in a large luxury resort setting. Resorts World Las Vegas values polished appearance and demeanor, strong communication skills in English, and the ability to work varied shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Job Requirements
- At least 18 years of age
- At least 2 years previous experience in a In Room Dining operation
- Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
- Position required licenses: Food Handler Card

- Ability to translate recipes into dishes

Job Duties
- Evaluate cooked food before serving to guest to ensure the highest level of taste and presentation
- Assist multiple stations with food prep, cooking and plating, when needed
- Ensure sanitation procedures and organization of work area adhere to all health code regulations and standards
- Maintain food and supply inventory levels and notify management of restocking requirements
- Attend and participate in daily briefings or pre-shifts
- Ensure all Resorts World core values and property and department standards are implemented and applied
- Obtain and maintain position-specific licensing
- Use personal device/cellular phone for job related operational tasks, job duties, review of company documents, etc
- Other duties as assigned
