As part of Marcus Hotels & Resorts, a division of The Marcus Corporation with a rich 60-year history of operational and service excellence, Mason Street Grill stands out not only for its exceptional cuisine but also for its commitment to delivering unforgettable dining experiences. The restaurant embodies a culture of "People Pleasing People," focusing on consistently exceeding guest expectations through quality food, exceptional service, and memorable atmospheres. With a strong reputation in Milwaukee's culinary scene, Mason Street Grill thrives on tradition, innovation, and community engagement, contributing to the city's diverse and vibrant food culture.

The Executive Chef role at Mason Street Grill offers an exciting opportunity for a passionate, experienced culinary leader to elevate both the guest experience and the performance of the kitchen team in this high-volume, upscale dining environment. This full-time position comes with a competitive salary ranging from $95,000 to $125,000 annually, depending on experience, and includes a sign-on bonus of up to $5,000. The role involves hands-on leadership, operational oversight, team development, and creative culinary management to maintain and enhance the establishment’s culinary excellence.

As Executive Chef, you will be the driving force behind the restaurant's culinary operations. You will direct daily kitchen activities, set and uphold the highest standards for food quality, consistency, and presentation, and inspire your team through training and mentorship. Responsibilities include managing food procurement, enforcing sanitation and safety protocols, controlling costs, leading menu innovation, and executing special events and seasonal menus.

The position requires a minimum of five years' experience in culinary management within high-volume, upscale restaurants or luxury hotel settings, with proven leadership skills and a thorough understanding of both classical and modern culinary techniques.

Beyond day-to-day responsibilities, the Executive Chef will collaborate cross-functionally with other departments like Engineering for kitchen equipment maintenance and participate in strategic culinary planning to ensure long-term restaurant success. With benefits such as medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, life insurance, early wage access, and ample career growth opportunities, this role offers a rewarding career path for culinary professionals dedicated to excellence and continuous development.
