This hotel offers spacious rooms equipped with complimentary Wi-Fi access, Plug-in Panels for streaming media, and plush bedding for ultimate comfort. Guests can indulge in delicious dining at the hotel’s restaurant or enjoy light meals and drinks in the award-winning sports bar. The hotel boasts classically-designed meeting and event venues perfect for corporate gatherings, weddings, and other social galas. Supported by an experienced staff of planners and catering experts, the hotel ensures every occasion is impeccably organized. Its prime location near the Basketball Hall of Fame, Six Flags New England, Dr. Seuss Museum, and the MassMutual Center makes it a sought-after venue for both leisure and business trips.

Step into a pivotal role as a Catering & Convention Services Manager, where you will drive catering and convention success by blending creativity, client service, and business acumen to deliver exceptional experiences. Serving as the leader for assigned properties, you will be responsible for managing food and beverage sales goals, overseeing client and group services, and ensuring that every event surpasses expectations. Collaborating closely with the Director of Sales or Director of Catering/Convention Services, your strategic input will be key in achieving the hotel’s revenue targets, elevating satisfaction scores, and hitting sales milestones.

This full-time, overtime-eligible managerial position requires you to be a dynamic professional with excellent communication and negotiation skills. You will be instrumental in creating strong client relationships, conducting engaging property tours, and leading the efforts to meet and exceed planning and sales goals. You will keep a keen eye on industry trends and market opportunities to strategically position the hotel ahead of its competitors.

Your responsibilities will encompass meticulous event planning and execution, efficiently managing banquet orders and adapting to last-minute changes to guarantee flawless event delivery. You will act as a community champion by representing the hotel at local events and promotional activities, further enhancing the property’s visibility and reputation.

The role rewards creativity, strategic thinking, and excellent client management abilities, making it ideal for professionals passionate about the hospitality industry and event management. As part of the team, you will benefit from a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision coverage, disability insurance, paid time off, an employee assistance program, and a 401k retirement plan. Additionally, the position offers daily pay options after an initial waiting period, providing flexible financial benefits to the employees.
