We are currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Food & Beverage Manager to join our team. This overtime eligible managerial role offers the opportunity to lead and inspire a talented team dedicated to providing exceptional dining experiences. As the Food & Beverage Manager, you will be the heart of hospitality, ensuring that every guest feels welcomed from the lounge to banquet events. Your leadership will be vital in coaching and training staff, maintaining operational standards, and promoting a positive and energetic atmosphere in all food and beverage outlets.
In this role, you will be responsible for upholding compliance with grooming and safety standards, as well as required certifications including Food Handlers, Alcohol Awareness, CPR, and First Aid to ensure a safe and professional environment. Alongside operations management, you'll be the administrative lead handling payroll, scheduling, and productivity reporting with accuracy and attention to detail.
Your role will also include overseeing food quality, creating engaging promotions, managing inventory, and beverage purchasing to maintain high standards and guest satisfaction. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential, enabling you to address guest needs promptly and efficiently, while fostering clear communication within your team.
We value versatility and a proactive attitude; therefore, as Food & Beverage Manager, you will engage in analyzing reports, participating in meetings, and stepping in wherever needed to support the team during busy periods or special events. This position requires a candidate who can stay composed under pressure, make informed decisions, and drive continuous improvement in service delivery.
If you have a passion for hospitality, enjoy a fast-paced environment, and possess a strong background in team leadership and food and beverage operations, this is the perfect role for you. Join Marriott Knoxville Downtown and be a crucial part of delivering memorable dining experiences that leave every guest smiling.
