Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 6 years progressive hotel or related experience or 4-year degree with 4 years related experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Knowledge of hotel operations and yield management
- Familiarity with PMS systems and industry reports
- Ability to analyze financial data

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 6 years of progressive experience in a hotel or related field or a 4-year college degree in business statistics, revenue management, or hospitality with at least 4 years of related experience
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products, especially Excel for formulating and reporting
- Understanding of general hotel operations and yield management philosophy
- Knowledge of branded or similar PMS systems, internet and travel websites, and industry reports such as Travelclick and STR desired
- Ability to work with and understand financial information and data and perform basic arithmetic
- Ability to assimilate complex information and consider adjustments to meet specific needs
- Strong critical thinking skills to investigate demand changes, pace, production and channel/source contribution
- Excellent presentation, written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational management skills and ability to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously
- Friendly, objective, and service-oriented approach with owners, guests, and associates
- Compliance with Aimbridge Hospitality standards and regulations
Job Duties
- Set, manage, and collaborate with GM/DOS to input appropriate yield controls to maximize hotel revenue from all distribution channels
- Coordinate with the front office team to maximize revenue through effective inventory management, upselling and sell-out efficiency
- Collaborate with sales and marketing to provide consultation on strategies for negotiating and booking group and catering business and to ensure meeting space utilization
- Manage brand/third-party channels and relationships by working with OTA market managers on promotions and market exposure
- Clearly relay items/actions from meetings and distribute notes and reports to stakeholders timely and facilitate meetings when required
- Effectively leverage, manage and maintain sales & revenue management systems, daily operations, forecasting support, and reporting as per brand standards
- Analyze revenue reports to make yield management decisions and update inventory and rate information
- Perform displacement analysis to support group sales and communicate recommendations to revenue leadership
- Place test calls to ensure accuracy of rate quoting, restrictions and selling approach
- Ensure accurate market segmentation, production, source contribution, daily pick-up and pace summary reports preparation and analysis
- Analyze monthly and weekly STR Report results and develop proactive strategies based on RevPAR index
- Develop, monitor and adjust group pricing strategies and preferred patterns where necessary
- Serve as key contact for system use and revenue management principles and provide training if needed
- Engage in annual BT pricing process and provide production trend analysis and pricing guidance to hotels
- Partner with strategy team to execute and contribute to 30-60-90 day forecasts and annual budget
- Participate in monthly financial reviews focused on sales, revenue and P&L
- Represent the hotel in industry functions as applicable
- Manage and communicate group cut off dates
- Monitor hotel status daily and adjust inventory controls as necessary and communicate to strategy team
- Perform special projects, participate on task forces, committees, trainings, and other responsibilities as assigned
- Develop and coach a team or teams of revenue professionals as applicable to the hotel size and structure
