The Barista role at Marriott Austin North is integral to delivering exceptional guest experiences within the hotel’s café. This position is responsible for producing high-quality coffee beverages with precision and artistic flair while maintaining operational excellence and a friendly, customer-centric demeanor. Job Requirements

  • Six months of food and beverage customer service experience including cash handling
  • Friendly and customer-centric attitude
  • Ability to work flexible hours including peak times
  • Basic math skills for cash handling
  • Ability to follow standard operating procedures
  • Strong interpersonal skills

  • Previous barista experience is a major plus

Job Duties

  • Create exceptional beverages with precision and artistry following standard operating procedures
  • Respond to guest requests with urgency and warmth ensuring satisfaction
  • Maintain organized work areas and optimize workflow to maximize productivity
  • Handle cash transactions accurately and manage deposits
  • Excel at pre- and post-shift responsibilities including stocking service stations
  • Represent the hotel with professionalism and enthusiasm maintaining high standards in appearance and customer interaction
