We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Server to join our vibrant team. As a Server at Ann Arbor Marriott Ypsilanti, you will play a crucial role in creating memorable dining experiences for our guests. Your responsibilities will include expertly managing multiple tables, taking and delivering orders with precision, and providing knowledgeable recommendations about our menu offerings, including daily specials and drink selections. Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Previous experience in hospitality or food and beverage service is a plus
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to engage professionally with guests and coworkers
Must obtain and maintain required certifications such as Alcohol Awareness and Food Handler's Card
Ability to multitask and remain composed under pressure
Physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform lifting and bending tasks

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

Create warm, memorable dining moments by greeting guests with a smile, taking accurate orders, and making sure every need is met from start to finish
Know the menu inside and out including ingredients, dietary needs, daily specials, and alcohol service guidelines to guide guests effectively
Deliver food and drinks quickly and flawlessly, ensuring orders are accurate and guests are satisfied
Manage multiple tables simultaneously, maintaining smooth service, clean areas, and composure in high-pressure situations
Handle transactions precisely, close checks confidently, and adhere to all company and security protocols
Maintain cleanliness and safety of the service area by following hygiene regulations and certification standards
Sustain energy and endurance throughout shifts, performing physical tasks such as lifting and bending as required
