Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Generally 3 years of restaurant management or leadership experience
- Must have current food handler's card and alcohol service certification as required by law
- Familiarity with Open Table reservation systems preferred
- Ability to work schedule shifts determined by business needs including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Basic math skills
- Computer skills including Microsoft Office
- Ability to lift or move approximately 50 pounds frequently
- Ability to stand for up to 8 hours per shift
- Ability to bend, stoop, kneel frequently
- Occasional climbing of ladders
- Willingness to travel for training and support
- Ability to work varied hours as needed

- Develop and implement strategies to increase qualified applicants including proactive recruiting
- Thoughtfully hire, develop, and mentor the team
- Maintain appropriate staff levels
- Minimize employee turnover by effective orientation, training, coaching, and performance feedback
- Facilitate implementation of company training programs and monitor performance to ensure skill transfer
- Cultivate open dialogue with team, regional and corporate partners
- Practice proactive performance management ensuring adherence to policies and procedures
- Assist employees with career development strategies
- Manage restaurant expenses ensuring budget compliance
- Ensure consistent execution of company policies and procedures
- Streamline Marlin Bar processes in partnership with the Regional Manager
- Manage payroll hours to budgeted payroll percentage
- Administer applicable safety programs for employees and guests
- Seek marketing opportunities to increase brand awareness and exposure
- Communicate Tommy Bahama lifestyle through brand execution
- Ensure employee appearance reflects brand image
- Manage upkeep of kitchen, bar, and exterior areas
- Embrace and reflect Tommy Bahama culture and values
- Co-manage team meetings with Retail to coordinate programs
- Partner with Retail Store Manager on shared expenses and operational issues
- Be receptive to feedback and coaching
- Possess and enforce knowledge of food and beverage menus and hospitality standards
- Interact with guests and cultivate community relationships
- Practice proper cash handling and POS operation
- Be proficient in food safety and sanitation guidelines
