Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • One or more years of high volume culinary or hospitality experience
  • Current food handler's card and other certification as required by federal, state or local law
  • Basic knowledge of restaurant skills including food, equipment, kitchenware, tableware storage and rotation
  • Proper cleaning, sanitizing and stocking of plateware, glassware, silverware, pots, pans and kitchen equipment
  • General housekeeping duties such as sweeping, mopping and trash removal
  • Willingness to perform other duties as required to support the business

Job Duties

  • Create a relaxed destination by participating in a team environment and demonstrating genuine hospitality and team player skills to promote financial and culinary success
  • Foster cleanliness by sanitizing tableware, pots, pans and cooking equipment
  • Keep the dish room and equipment clean and organized, practicing proper operation of dish machine including setup, breakdown, proper washing procedures and chemical usage
  • Ensure safety, cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen by maintaining specified agency standards
  • Perform general housekeeping duties such as sweeping, mopping and trash removal
  • Support the culinary team by assisting with food preparation and storage
  • Follow all food safety and sanitation regulations
