Job Description

Hensley Beverage Company is a multi-generational, family-owned, local Arizona beverage wholesaler that has built a strong reputation over the years by distributing a diverse portfolio of beverages. This includes renowned brands such as Anheuser-Busch InBev (ABI) beers, popular local and regional craft beers, premium non-alcoholic beverages, as well as an extensive selection of award-winning fine wines and spirits. The company prides itself on maintaining a fine lineup of world-class products while fostering a strong team of world-class people. With deep roots in the Arizona community and a commitment to excellence, Hensley Beverage Company continues to be a leader in beverage distribution across the region. Their mission is not only to deliver outstanding products but also to engage and support their communities through their business practices and partnerships.

The role of Marketing Specialist at Hensley Beverage Company is an active and hands-on position that goes beyond traditional office responsibilities. The Marketing Specialist plays a critical role in planning, executing, and reporting on a variety of live events and brand activations throughout Arizona. This position involves significant fieldwork, requiring the individual to be on-site managing event activities such as festivals, concerts, golf tournaments, and other promotional events. The role demands a proactive, organized, and dynamic professional who thrives in fast-paced environments where quick problem-solving and adaptability are essential.

Key responsibilities include leading the on-site management of diverse events, coordinating logistics, managing teams of volunteers or marketing representatives, and ensuring smooth event operations. Additionally, the Marketing Specialist is responsible for analyzing event performance metrics, including engagement and return on investment, to provide actionable insights and recommendations to continually improve future events. Overseeing budget allocation and ensuring cost-effective use of resources is also a vital part of this role. The ideal candidate will foster strong relationships with internal teams, external vendors, promoters, and event stakeholders to create successful partnerships. Flexibility to work evenings and weekends, particularly during peak event seasons, is required. The Marketing Specialist must also guarantee brand consistency across all activations and deliver detailed event reports following each engagement. This position offers an excellent opportunity to be deeply involved in marketing initiatives that have a tangible and immediate impact on the company’s community presence and growth.
