The role of Marketing Services Coordinator within the Seneca Gaming Corporation is essential for the seamless operation of the Marketing Services and Communications Departments. This full-time position is pivotal in supporting daily departmental functions, ensuring that all marketing, communications, and event-related activities are executed effectively within the corporation's policies and procedures. The Marketing Services Coordinator is responsible for handling various reservation systems, managing room blocks, and assisting with event coordination and special reports, which are crucial tasks for maintaining smooth interactions with players, clients, and the general public.

The Marketing Services Coordinator helps manage off-property reservations, supports special events through detailed reporting, handles Will Call processes for entertainment events, and monitors online reservation bookings. Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older upon employment
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of six months experience as a Marketing Services Representative and/or experience with ACSC, LMS, Q-Master phone system
  • Scheduling flexibility and dependability required
  • Excellent quantifiable customer service skills and dependability required
  • Ability to operate a personal computer
  • Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Must be able to work in an intense and fast paced environment where a high degree of concentration is necessary
  • Must present a professional appearance and demeanor
  • Must possess excellent communication skills
  • Ability to write and speak routine correspondence with excellent English grammar, punctuation, and spelling
  • Ability to deal effectively and interact well with customers and employees
  • Ability to resolve problems and conflicts diplomatically and tactfully
  • Must be able to stand, walk, and move through all areas of the casino
  • Must have excellent aural abilities
  • Maintain physical stamina and proper mental attitude to work under pressure in a fast-paced, casino environment
  • Must be able to work in an environment where smoking is permitted

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Assist the Marketing Services Shift Managers in daily department duties
  • Complete reports, monitor online reservation bookings, Will Call preparation, track travel agent commissions, manage off property rooms
  • Input Group Sales reservations and maintain room blocks
  • Ensure clear communication of company and job-related information to staff and superiors
  • Train and orient new and existing Representatives
  • Review reservations to meet player rating system requirements and report exceptions
  • Assist Representatives in determining qualifications for complimentary services
  • Answer incoming calls professionally and provide requested information
  • Coordinate with related areas to ensure effective operations
  • Compile and distribute accurate and current information about events, offers, and shows
  • Promote positive public relations
  • Maintain a clean, safe, harassment-free work environment
  • Cooperate with Seneca Gaming Authority to ensure compliance with gaming rules and regulations
  • Maintain understanding and compliance with information security policies
  • Provide exceptional customer service in a professional manner
  • Adhere to attendance guidelines and company policies
  • Complete required training programs within nine months
  • Attend necessary meetings
  • Support staff during the short-term absence of the Marketing Services Shift Manager
  • Perform duties as scheduled on a 24-hour schedule
